FEBRUARY 13, 2023
EDHEC’s Global MBA now ranks #47 worldwide in the prestigious Financial Times. Furthermore, the Financial Times ranked EDHEC’s Global MBA #3 worldwide for ESG, #6 worldwide for International Mobility and #8 worldwide in the category Value for Money.
Sustainability and ESG are deeply ingrained in the Global MBA curriculum. Thus, it includes a week-long sustainability expedition as well as a five-month-long Sustainable Impact Challenge, during which students solve real-life ESG problems presented by corporations such as IBM, Air Liquide, Schneider Electric, Vulog, and Somfy. This commitment to sustainability and ESG education is recognized: the Financial Times ranked EDHEC’s Global MBA #3 worldwide for ESG and Net Zero Teaching for a third consecutive year, and as part of the ranking’s new Carbon Footprint benchmark, it ranked #17 worldwide for proactive carbon emission policies.
These results highlight EDHEC’s social and climate mission which, following the school’s ImpactFutureGen strategy, aims to shape leaders who will enact positive change in the world. Year after year, this focus on sustainability inspires students.
EDHEC’s Global MBA ranks #6 worldwide for International Mobility, according to the FT. Taking careers from Peru to Germany or landing a triple jump (changing role, industry and country at the same time), the programme serves as a springboard for career acceleration. The diversity of EDHEC Global MBA classes (97% international students) and the acquisition of multicultural managerial competencies give it a truly international dimension. The personal attention, tools and coaching the students receive from the programme’s Career Centre get them ready to accelerate their careers.
The latest FT ranking also highlights the EDHEC Global MBA’s Value for Money, ranking it #8 worldwide. The programme, which is one of the shortest and most intense in the world, provides graduates with exciting career opportunities, including transitioning into entrepreneurship through a dedicated entrepreneurship track and new industries.
“The exceptional progression of EDHEC’s Global MBA in the FT Ranking is an acknowledgment of both the programme’s excellence and the impact strategy pursued by EDHEC for several years in service of future generations,” said EDHEC Global MBA Director Sandra Richez. “The Global MBA is a unique and transformative learning experience for students. We create managers who are conscious of the challenges linked with sustainable development, diversity, and inclusion, and who are ready to drive solutions for society’s greatest challenges.”
Operating from campuses in Lille, Nice, Paris, London and Singapore, EDHEC is one of the top 15 European business schools, ranked 1st worldwide for its Master in Finance. Fully international and directly connected to the business world, EDHEC commands a strong reputation for research excellence and the ability to train entrepreneurs and managers capable of breaking new ground. EDHEC functions as a genuine laboratory of ideas and produces innovative solutions valued by businesses.
The School’s teaching is inspired by its research work and a focus on “learning by doing”, all with the aim of equipping people with the skills to succeed in business.
