Besides joining the top trio at the French level, the programme moves up from the 39th to the 34th position at worldwide scale. This ranking results from an innovative academic approach of entrepreneurship, deeply rooted in practice and business realities, and from an enduring commitment to support MBA participants in their innovative projects.
An entire specialization track of EDHEC Global MBA is dedicated to entrepreneurship and designed for students who aim at starting their own business, taking over a company, become intrapreneurs or leaders in an existing start-up. All along the track, supported by prominent Professors (such as Clare Gately, PhD, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship) and professionals (investors and entrepreneurs), MBA participants explore their ideas in depth, assess their business potential and get invaluable feedback and guidance from investors.
With an exceptional learning expedition to the Silicon Valley, they also discover the global epicenter of innovation. They benefit from the experience and expertise of Bay Area stars such as Google, Facebook, Apple, Paypal or IBM, visit corporate incubators and large accelerators, and meet with venture capitalists and teams from successful start-ups.
"I would say that EDHEC Business School has helped me unleash a lot of my potential. I’ve learnt a lot, I’ve grown a lot, and I’ve honed strengths I never knew I had." Vivek George Thomas, EDHEC MBA and "Entrepreneurship" Track student (via BusinessBecause).
EDHEC also supports MBA participants through their innovative projects on a daily basis. They have access the EDHEC Entrepreneurs Incubator and Accelerator services in Paris, Lille and Nice campuses, and can be selected to join the world’s largest incubator, Station F, in Paris.
"From new entrants to seasoned alumni, EDHEC services are open to entrepreneurs from anywhere in the world, at any stage in their careers and education, with any kind of business idea and at all stages of development." Jean-Michel Ledru, Head of EDHEC’s Incubator and Entrepreneurial learning.
With this unique ecosystem, EDHEC Global MBA is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for managers and aspiring entrepreneurs to open their minds to new agile practices, get entrepreneurial inspiration and, finally gain confidence in their own project. In this respect, figures speak for themselves: 28% of Global MBA Graduates (class of 2013) have started their own business, and 81% of these companies are still in operation today.
