EYE's mission is to provide a flexible and effective support to students and graduates of the EDHEC group wishing to start their own business. EYE expands on the teachings of different programmes in the EDHEC group and integrates the continuity of the values of excellence of the group.
The on-campus incubator is open to all EDHEC students, new graduates and graduates who already have professional experience and who have a business project, irrespective of campus of study. Specific remote support will be given to persons based in Nice and Paris. It offers the possibility to actively participate in the local business environment, EYE also engages in open house initiative employment (EIM) in Roubaix, Lille.
Projects are initially reviewed by Jean-Michel Ledru, a consultant dedicated to the EYE project, and projects selected in the initial review phase pass before a commission that determines the final selection of projects for acceptance into the EYE program.
Selected projects then benefit from EYE, who coaches on the structure to build and validate the business plan and to present financial structuring assistance in all aspects such as human, technical, legal, tax, operational partners, marketing and communication with the assistance and expertise of professors from the EDHEC group, to seek and find funding for the project, to accompany the creation of the enterprise as well as monitor and support the created enterprise for 24 months. Non-selected project owners will benefit from a debriefing to refocus their project.
